It gets five stars because it is a good product. But there are no instructions. You can figure out most things, but perhaps not everything. For example, I could see that there is a part that will allow you to affix your cell phone to the shaft. But why I would want to do that was not clear. Fortunately, there was a video on the product page and I could tell by watching that the shaft attachment is so that you can use your cell phone as a monitor assuming it can display what your camera is seeing. Without having viewed that, I would have no idea and the product's full utility would have remained a mystery.It's strong with good twist locks for the shaft extensions. It reaches a respectable length and if you unscrew the wrist strap, you can attach the base of the selfie stick to a tripod. That means that you can carry a small table-top tripod that can serve as feet for the selfie stick should you need to get even more distance between you and the camera.

HSU 自撮り棒のレビューです。全体がアルミ製で剛性感は十分です。伸縮は節部分を回すとロック、ロック解除が行える感じ。お尻側に三脚穴があるので、三脚に取り付けることも可能です。金属製で軽く扱いやすいのですが、先端の方のアクションカムプラケットも取り外しができれば良かったかなと思います。

自撮り棒初心者です。よく説明を見ないでいた私が悪いのですが、手元にスイッチなどがなく、タイマーで写真撮影するものなのですね。スライドするポールの長さも十分なのですが、ちょっと操作に難儀しました。慣れの問題でしょう。

伸ばすと約1メートル、畳んで40センチ弱なので、普段から持ち歩くような自撮り棒ではありません。長さと堅牢さの割には軽く、振り回してみてもびくともしないので激しい動きも大丈夫そうです。先端は自由雲台ではなくアクションカムのマウントなので、棒の縦方向にしかカメラは動きません。微妙に斜め横を見るような角度は取れないので、あくまでも自撮り用と思った方が良いです。伸縮はリングを左回しで緩めて伸ばし、またリングを右回しで締めるという2アクションで、サッと取り出してパッと伸ばすというような軽快さはありません。さー撮るぞ！と準備してから、撮影を始めるような使い方なら申し分ないです。スマホを固定するパーツは激しい動きに耐えられないので、これは使うか微妙ですね。。。
