Works great! Keeps the seagulls off the front of my boat. Worked so great I put a second one on the back of the boat. We are in the Pacific Northwest and even with as little direct sun as we get it stays charged and operational.

I had tried a number of other "pest repellents" and had found that all, despite claiming to be weatherproof, died after a couple of rainstorms. This one has s different design so I thought I give it a try and so far it has worked and the solar battery seems to charge it up pretty well (another failure of the other ones I had tried). I assume that the lights and the sound repel animals -- I haven't actually seen something deterred by it yet though.

This product worked directly out of the box. Motion sensor works very well and siren is very loud and did scare away the pigeons, however, as I feared, the pigeons got use to the sound and now just ignore it (after just 2 days). The ultrasonic and flashing lights option did not appear to do anything and definitely did not scare away the birds.I would give this product 5 stars if it had the options: to usb charge, adjust the siren volume and length of siren activation time. Overall a good product for the price.

I have this over in my Frio and it keeps the raccoons it runs the raccoons away the cat it is loud the light blink red and blue and if you walk past you to pick up your motion and yes you have kept me getting up a few nights looking out making sure nobody was messing with my things over there great investment

You have to become accustomed to the settings. Think carefully before employing the siren option as it is so loud that the entire neighborhood will hear and your hearing may be damaged! I set mine on flash only, found an area where it received sun and was disguised, and this little flashing light did not disappoint! Bright alternating flashes of red and blue go off at high sensitivity. If you live in a windy area, be prepared: the sensor works so well that waving grass will set it off—over and over and over. However, if you have problems with predators, trespassers, or stealing from your property, I don’t think you will be disappointed! Charge also lasts a LONG time in sunny conditions.

I used this to keep woodchuck and turkeys away from the garden. Really loud. Motion activated and Solar keeps it charged.

I have another version of this from a different manufacturer and that one falses all the time, which makes it more noisy and annoying than effective. Not this one, and I especially like the ultrasonic feature (rather than a simple noisemaker). I use the nighttime mode ultrasonic with lights as a coyote deterrent and it is perfectly fit for purpose in this regard. One minor quibble is that the lights are flashing alternating red/blue, which makes it seem a bit like a police light - though that may well be the point if used for intruder deterrent (though not likely to fool anyone in this respect either, so I don't know...) I do wish the lights were both red, but like I said it's a minor quibble and otherwise I'm quite happy with what this does.UPDATE May 10, 2024:I've had this for about a week or so and it stopped working, along with another unit I just bought as well (recall these are all identical and come from the same factory, so though they are different "brands" it matters not). A fully direct-Sun charge all day does nothing and it will not function at all. I have reasonable expectations that mass-produced stuff like this isn't made for a lifetime, but I expect more than one week. Manufacturers: make a decent product and charge accordingly for it. We don't need cheap junk that lasts a week and ends-up in the rubbish. It's wasteful!
