I ordered a replacement veil for my Aero suit, which has been beat up over the last two years. I like it so much, I decided to order a new veil when the wire around the top and bottom of the veil broke in multiple places and was starting to stick out. I tried to order but they were out, so after lots of emails that didn't get answered (except one), I finally saw it was available and order a replacement........which arrived with the top wire already broken. You guys need to source some better wire! It's not that hard! So I returned it, and a new one arrived. It wasn't broken, so I went out and zipped it onto my beat up old suit. A couple of days later, I went out to check the bees, and noticed that the screen material is flimsy compared to my older veil. It's so flimsy that if I turn my head the screen wrinkles and comes in contact with my ears, nose, cheek, wherever. Now, I've been stung on the cheek a time or two and people always ask me if I was in a bar fight. So I am rather concerned about this, since bees can get mighty mean here in Texas. Concerned enough to start looking for another veil, which will require me to change out the zippers on the suit and veil in order to make a good connection. So, not a happy camper.You might also want to be aware of something else. The material on the top of the hat is pretty thin, always has been, and so I have been wearing a bicycle cap to put another layer of fabric between me and the opportunistic bee. It also helps keep sweat out of my eyes, so I'll keep doing that regardless.But that flimsy screen material, that's not going to work. I'd send this one back too, if I didn't need it.
