Purchased for my 2010 F-150. Didn’t fix my issue. When I took my truck to a local shop they said it this part was DOA. Of course I’m out of the return/replace window with Amazon. Lesson learned.Stick to OEM parts on Ford Trucks!

After a couple years of my fan randomly going on and off and not being able to keep it on to defrost the windshield I came across an article saying this part was to blame. I figured it was worth it to try and replace it, and it fixed the problem! Finally, the air in my truck works right and stays on and off when it’s supposed to! I’m so glad to have this fixed and that it didn’t cost a fortune.

It was a perfect replacement. Local store wanted $85 for this part. This part fit perfect and fixed the issue.The problem I had~~My truck ac would not shut off or change any temp or vent speed, this part is under the glove box and took a total of 15 minutes to instal (only because my wire got stuck and I had to pry it out.It takes two 8mm screws that are holding the old one in.Simply disconnect the wire from the unit, unscrew it and place the new one in and plug the wire into the new unit and that’s it.Well worth the buy if you’re having this issue. I have take a photo of where it goes as well as the new vs the old.

2012 F-150 had the Fan blower stuck on a mid level setting. I was able to change the speed setting of the fan but there was no response. Forums indicated this as a potential problem. This part fixed the problem and now I am able to control the speed of the blower. Great value compared to OEM price and easy to replace.
