Always have in my bag for those hard to reach/tight spots where it's hard to screw on a regular low loss fitting without getting frostbite. No more of those "oh great who designed this service valve, how the hell am i supposed to guage up on that" situations. It does not leak as long as it is snugged up, and also stops refrigerant flow turned all the way off. For $10 I don't care if it doesnt last forever due to the seal design not being replaceable as far as I can tell. I will just buy another one as it is such a useful tool, I guage up on about 5-6 systems daily

I bought the other version of these too keep away from frostbite and they leaked after 2 weeks. Saw this version and they work great. Build quality is way better too.

This Wisscool 1/4" x 1/4" Refrigerant Charging Valve is a solid valve for use with 1/4" fittings. Fitting is as depicted in the product description and functions without leaks.

good low price fitting. Threading was a good fit. Did not seem to want to cross thread or let loose. Held just fine through the refrigerant transfer.

I am thoroughly impressed with these HVAC Control Valve. The brass construction feels durable and high-quality. These brass AC charging valves arrived packaged well and as described.I like the small size of the valves, as some time space is very limited. These valves will certainly make a tight job that much easier. The threads on both valves were cut well with no burrs or rough edges. Both valves operate correctly, move freely and can be used on HVAC such as mini splits, (they come sized for this). Or you can add fittings and use them for car service work.Overall this is a decent product, especially for a tight area. Lifetime or reliability is unknown until they are used a few times. If anything changes I will update this review.
