For $5 a piece you should get better quality. Most people would install these in a permanent location assuming they would last a lifetime as most other switches do. Don’t do it! 2 failed already. One always on the other always off

Almost all reed switches are made in China & you can never tell from the write-up if NO/NC means with or without the magnet due to the language translation problems. By using this switch you can check with an ohm meter & make sure you connect as desired.

I got these to replace a few old and failing window sensors. They are just a little bit larger in diameter than my original sensors but it was easy to open up the access hole a little. These new sensors are working perfectly.
