Came in bent corners like most of the reviews but let’s face it I’m going to end up bending them at some point in it’s life should figure out how to straighten it with pliers early… and it’s huge I probably should have considered one half the size it would be easier to manage

It's decent. It works for specific use-cases, but it's not going to let you cut in with a spray painter against molding/ceiling/etc like a brush / edger would. It's just not built for detailing. Also like many others mentioned, it bends easily. It's also awkward to use while you're using a sprayer. Really takes some getting used to - to be proficient with this thing... you're better off taping I think.

This is a tool and if you can't get the wedge inside the metal/plastic you should reconsider your skills and not the the tools. But in base you're like how did other do it!Use a wedge (nail remove hammer for ne)You'll likely need to hammer it in or be built like hulk hogan. This will create a corner openingPlace the shield in that opening as close to the holes as possible.Remove wedge (nail remove hammer for me)Use a blunt hammer (sledge) to get it in place.Repeat above steps until you align the bolt holesDone :)

Nice concept. Very long but a bit too awkward to use as paint shield

I used this shield pretty extensively during a painting project last week, and it worked perfectly. The blade is flexiblr, which allows for straight lines without warping or banding. The locking knuckle of the blade allows you to positio the blade at 90 degrees, and pretty much everything between. The blade is easy to clean, with no residual like with most plastic blades. The only drawback is the included pole, which is too short for most of my needs.Note: A number of reviewers gave this a bad rating due to its flexibility, which I assume comes from a lack of experience with flexible blades. The best way to use a flexible blade is to lock the knuckle at a slight angle to the surface you are shielding, and us pressure to flatten the blade. This not only ensures a straight line, but also a tight fit against an adjacent surface so there isn't any seepage.

Great tool, does what it is advertised to do, just wish the guard was coated with something so the paint would not adhere as easily to it, made it a bit hard to clean.
