This great spray painting tool save hours in spray painting by allowing my painters to reach high without the use of ladders or staging. This is a fabulous professional painting tool!

I picked this up because I needed to do a high ceiling in the garage with multiple obstacles. Now I'm impressed with the stability of it and lightweight. It's much better than using an extension wand because you don't have the spatter after you release your trigger. The only two things I'll say negatively about the product is 1 it's very expensive especially with a lot of plastic parts. 2 it's not very accommodating for my particular regular size Greco spray gun and the retainer screw to hold the gun in place is a bit flimsy.

The idea of attaching the spray gun to an extension and not using a ladders is great. Unfortunately, this product is not it. The extension pole is build very well, but the gun mount is mostly plastic and very flimsy. For this price, I would expect a better quality components.

It looks very nice when you take it out of the package, unfortunately it is made with the quality of a McDonalds toy. The mechanism is finicky and frustrating. Sometimes it works. Sometimes when I pull the trigger nothing happens, and other times it doesn’t let go; leaving the gun to spray continually. I adjusted everything, but just could not get any consistency out of the thing. I suspect most of the issues stem from the cable connection between the two pieces, which you have no control over. When extended to the full 12ft it is too flexible. Recoil from the gun pushes it away from the wall so you apply pressure to compensate. What ends up happening, because of the flexibility of the pole itself, is it bounces in and out causing a wavy spray pattern. With enough practice, someone could master this, but you are still compensating for the poor quality of the product. If you could get the trigger to work consistently, and don’t fully extend it, or if you are painting a ceiling, this may work OK, but it’s not worth the price. A stout pole, some duct tape, and a piece of string would be superior in every way to this product. I still have half my project to go, but I can’t return this thing fast enough.

Horrible product. It didn’t come with the coil thing to hold the hose. The knob to tighten the gun holder will not hold the gun up so it can spray. It doesn’t have the coil to hold the cord so it won’t stay in place. When I extend the pole to full extension it will not spray. Total waste of $180. So frustrated. Useless piece of garbage. Feel totally ripped off. Could not even use it for 10 minute. Only works if the pole is short and only halftime the time. Worst purchase of my life. I’m sure I got a faulty product that someone returned because it wasn’t all there. You don’t know that until you try to use it. I wish I could return it. Pure garbage.

It works great! It saved me from having to build scaffolding or using a dangerous long ladder.Thank you K. Johnson for the review comment that the longest one was too long, although cheaper.Upon giving Johnson's review some thought, I went with the mid-length unit. The mid-length unit is great and about the most length I can handle at full extension with the heavy weight of the spraygun on the end.Keep in mind that the minimum length is what you have to work with without having to remove the spraygun and do it by hand. When I stand, say midway up on a ladder, plus working with the minimum/maximum extended length of the pole, plus my slightly extended arms, I can't see how I would ever need/use/manage the longer pole. There are only a few places I needed to use it, but it saved hours of setup time for the ladders and scaffolding for these few places, not to mention being a lot safer standing lower.
