  • In-line module to correct the speedometer for non-stock tire sizes and/or gear ratios
  • Installs easily to the factory wring harness - No Splicing Required
  • Perfect for vehicles with computers that don’t allow for tire size and/or gear ratio correction
  • No limitations for increasing tire height or gear ratio
  • Provides accurate speedometer readings as required by law
  • Fit type: Vehicle Specific

When installing tires that are larger or smaller than original equipment tires, and/or installing a ring and pinion gear set with a different rear gear ratio, the Speedometer Calibrator allows you to correct speedometer readings. The vehicle’s computer calculates your vehicle’s speed based on the diameter of the stock tires. If you’ve installed taller or shorter tires, or changed the rear gear ratio, the vehicle’s computer doesn’t know how fast your vehicle is going. As a result, the speedometer readings will not be accurate as required by law. Using the USB cable connect the In-line Speedometer Calibrator Module to your PC and enter the new tire height and/or rear gear ratio. Next, disconnect the factory connector to the instrument cluster behind the dash, snap in the Speedometer Calibrator Module, reconnect the cluster, and you’re done In a matter of minutes, you can accurately correct your speedometer readings.

Used it on my 2017 GMC Canyon with 34" tires on a 6" lift. It works perfectly! Really like how there are two methods to calibrate appropriate speed; using the tire spec or via GPS speed. I used the GPS speed method to calibrate and my speedometer is now spot on.

Calibrator worked great, but the installation instructions were trash. If your install in a 2017 Colorado. The module plug location is behind the headlight knob panel. Only one of the plugs is compatible. Good lick on your install.

once I found the installation manual is was easy to instal. fixes the speedometer inaccuracy and also improves the shift point. However, when you change your diff gears your cruise control stops working and unfortunately this device cannot fix that.

Easy install and worked perfectly for 2018 Silverado 2500 with lift and 37” tires. Speedo is now perfect, was off 12% from stock. Be sure to actually measure tire diameter!!!
