I bought this item based upon the photograph of the item. What was most attractive to me was the size and shape of the pestle. It was quite unique and different from anything else out there, so I purchased it as a birthday gift for my daughter. Imagine my disappointment when the item arrived. It wasn't ANYTHING like the image portrayed. In fact, it was rather ordinary and not even well made. It was scratched and dinged as well. This item was not only damaged, but it was falsely advertised. If there was a way, I would've given it ZERO stars. Avoid disappointment. Do NOT buy!

Five stars for quality and appearance. Wish it were a little bigger for avacados & other foods. Otherwise, perfect.
