The ICM2920 is an automated gas ignition control board that monitors the ignition sequence including the inducer, pressure switch, spark ignition, gas valve, flame sense, and circulating blower while maintaining complete safety circuit monitoring including the high limit switch, roll out switch, and auxiliary limit switch circuits.

I live at the very end of the Electrical Grid for the area here and I get a lot of outages and voltage spikes when things happen along the way. I opted for this brand as a replacement since the OEM has raised with inflation to 2-1/2 times the cost of this one. So far in the first month I've had 3 power outages and several spikes. I do have a commercial grade surge protector on my electrical panel but it still fries my oem boards and other items even with my surge controls and extra grounding and I have to say it's holding up so far to the abuse my stuff has to endure. It was a direct replacement so no issues with changing out the board and no modifications are needed. I have lived here since 2011 and had to replace my control board several times. I think this makes the 4th or 5th so I'll update the post if I have to replace it any sooner than the oem boards I've had to.
