This is a good controller that easily allows you to install your own calls, even calls not from the manufacturers site. The call can be turned up very loud at full volume but gets distorted above maybe 85% volume. Even so, it was very effective at calling coyotes and other animals. The dying rabbit call got every owl, hawk and crow in the area riled up and swooping in looking for the easy meal.I liked, and recommend, using the arm band with the list of animal calls... simple thing but made all the difference when needing to change up the calls in a hurry.The only downfall is the remote control... there is no way to turn it off so you must carefully handle or transport the remote, so the call button is not pressed (it wears out the battery).No regrets buying this caller.

Really like this call. It has good sound quality and plenty of volume. Haven’t tested the full range (advertised at 300 yds) of the remote because I don’t need that distance for my hunts. Downloading sounds from the Icotec library and saving to SD cards is easy enough once you get the hang of it. I like the compact size; it easily fits in my daypack. Only criticism is that there is no on/off switch for the remote. Learned the hard way that I need to remove the battery after each use since the buttons are pretty sensitive and the slightest bump will activate the remote and drain the battery.

I had no clue what to expect. All I know is that I didn't want to pay a bunch of money for a game call if I wasn't sure it would work. I have a bunch of pictures of coyotes on my game cameras in the field and tend to think that my deer population is dwindling because of it. I bought this call 6 months ago and never took it out of the box due to time. I finally got it out and toook it to the woods for a try. I turned it on and played the cottontail in distress call. In less than thirty seconds, I had a murder of crows circling my stand and cawing. In less than thirty seconds after that, I had a giant bobcat sprinting down the shooting lane headed right for my game call. I must say that this machine made me a believer. You don't have to spend a bunch of money on high price calls. Get this one and get ready. It all happens very quickly, so be ready on the trigger.

Caller works great. Some of the reviews claim the sound volume is low. I find this unit to be quite loud. The sounds were easy to download from their website and copy to spare SD cards as long as you followed their simple directions.

Very nice caller. Well thought out features. Downloadable calls from icotec website are really nice and easy to do. 24 calls per sd card is plenty and you can arrange them in he order you want. Can have as many sd cards as you want so you can have as many calls as you want. Unit is small and calls are surprisingly loud and clear. Remote seems to work well. Only wish it came with a carrying case.

this is a fantastic programmable caller with a ton of downloadable calls available from the ICOtec website.this unit works as well as the much more expensive competitor's models imo!many hunters have tried this caller and all are more than happy with it.with the interchangeable sd slot,you can program specific sd card with your choice of calls for different hunting needs.moose,deer,rodents,varmints,crow....etc.great remote range that outdoes some of the more expensive competitor's models.if you're looking for a great caller that doesn't cost $300-$400,look no further!

I am very impressed with this little call, especially for the money. The volume is loud enough to call song dogs in from close to a 1/4 mile in thick woods and the sounds are so clear that they sound real. I killed 2 yotes and a grey fox with this call in the first 2 weeks I owned it. That means about 6 fawns that will be recruited in to my deer herd next year. Incredible! Called in another 5 yotes that got away too because I wasn't using a long-range rifle. On top of that, I called in about 200 crows and killed at least a dozen. If you are planning on hunting solely predators (and crows) this call comes packed with everything you need to have incredibly successful hunts!
