It let sand into the motor (this is a dune buggy) and the oil pressure relief valve stuck open. Causing a loss of oil pressure. After engine tear down, one new gromet was leaking a little oil while the other gromet was cracked all the way around. The cam on the front and rear lobes show signs of crushing the sand. On sand cars, sand often gets stuck between the intake and valley cover. Once we removed the gromets, they were rock hard and brittle. If I didnt change them myself, I never would have believe they were changed due to their hardness.

Perfect fit for a gen three ls. Came in a random clear bag with a amazon sticker on it so don’t know brand or country of origin.

I ordered this item cause I wasn't expecting the 2 grommets to be included in a kit that I had ordered separately. I compared this gasket to the one I received in the kit and they are identical. Im not familiar with returning items so I just kept it. I'm sure I can sell it o. Offer up.

Appears to be exactly like OEM. Decent price. Worked as should. Clean valley pan cover and block to be sure gasket seats well and torque to spec. I'd clean the knock sensor ports while your at it with a 1" cup on a drill.
