About this item

  • ✅PRINT ANYWHERE WITHOUT THE INK HASSLE:Say goodbye to messy ink cartridges. This portable printer creates sharp 300DPI documents faster than you can staple papers – we’re talking 4-6 seconds per A4 page. Whether you’re printing contracts at a coffee shop or boarding passes at the airport, it delivers professional results every time
  • ✅TOUGH ENOUGH FOR DAILY USE:Weighing less than a hardcover book (1.1lb/498g), it slides easily into backpacks or tote bags. The textured grip prevents slips, and the matte finish hides scuffs from daily commutes. At 10.2 inches long, it fits neatly beside your laptop in any work bag
  • ✅BATTERY LIFE THAT KEEPS UP WITH YOU:One full charge handles 360 pages – enough to print a 200-page manual plus your weekly meeting notes. The 2000mAh battery lasts through 4 hours of continuous use, though you’ll need to buy thermal paper separately (standard 3.1" width works fine)
  • ✅COMPREHENSIVE COMPATIBILITY:Pair with smartphones via Bluetooth in 90 seconds – no tech degree required. The free HerePrint app lets you print photos directly from Instagram or turn handwritten notes into PDFs. For laptops, just plug in the USB cable: it acts like a regular printer for Word docs, Excel sheets, or even IKEA instruction PDFs
  • ✅FROM OFFICE TO LIFE: Print last-minute permission slips at school pickup Create parking passes for weekend events Keep food truck orders organized with instant receipts Document rental property inspections on-site Make scavenger hunt lists during family trips

I don’t have a lot of use for a printer these days, but when my trusty 25-year-old HP Laserjet recently died I found myself missing the ability to hit Command-P when I really needed to, and the thought of all that wasted money for ink cartridges made me shy away from using the inkjet machine in our craft room. So I was quite excited when this iDPRT MT610 Pro thermal printer came up.My wife scoffed when I told her I ordered it. How could the equivalent of ‘90s fax technology improve my life in 2025? For starters, these thermal printers are compact and just work. This machine weighs barely a pound and the only consumables are the thermal paper it requires along with an occasional charge of the built-in battery. My old Laserjet weighed 15 pounds and took up an entire shelf in my desk cabinet, not to mention the $120 toner cartridges. There is an app that you need to download called HerePrint that in addition to letting you print photos or documents from your phone or pad via Bluetooth also gives you some nice extras like daily planners, to-do lists, cute animal graphics, a maze game and Sudoku puzzles.I didn’t play around with those too much, however, because what I really wanted this for was to print text and graphics from my M4 Mac Mini. That’s where I quickly realized this machine’s shortcomings, and unfortunately the fault lies in the software. This printer can work via Bluetooth or attached directly to a computer with the included USB-A cable. My computer found the printer immediately via Bluetooth, but after a couple of seconds it would disconnect. I downloaded the latest driver, v1.0.3, from iDPRT (which I had to search for because there was no direct link to it.) Once installed, it still would not let me connect with Bluetooth. I then added the printer via USB and that seemed to work… for a short while.Printing some test pages from my word processor worked great. The printing is nice and crisp at 300 dpi. A page of black and white text from my Chrome browser zipped through in less than 15 seconds. I even managed to print a graphic or two and things seemed to be going okay until I decided to print a document from Adobe Photoshop. The light on the printer flashed like it was working, but nothing printed. I spent a few days troubleshooting this, and while I think part of the problem may have been the size of my Photoshop files, I sometimes had no trouble printing the same files from a browser window or when uploaded to my phone and printed from the HerePrint app. But the results were very inconsistent, and here I am now writing this review with no definitive solution. There seems to be little support for this printer from the manufacturer, and little discussion about it online from the user community, which leads me to conclude that you are pretty much on your own if things go wrong. If all you want is to print from your mobile device or spit out an occasional text document from your home computer, perhaps you will be happy with this machine. When it works, it works great. It will even accept rolled or fanfold paper if that’s what you feed it. But the buggy software makes it useless as a go-to solution for printing on Mac OS, and for that reason I can’t recommend this printer.

I got this for printing recipes really quick when I don't wanna run downstairs to the office to use my regular printer. Does that make me lazy? Maybe. But honestly, I don't really care because I'm so excited about how well it worked out. The printer is super small and compact, I set it on top of my recipe book in a very small shelf that's already crammed and it fits just fine. So it's super easy to store which I appreciate! It's also super easy to set up, once I downloaded the app I had it working in seconds. The cord comes with is actually long enough for when you need to charge it, but don't have much counter space so it needs to travel a decent distance which I appreciate. It seems like everything comes with really tiny 5" cords these days, but this one's a decent length for something like this, like 15". It also charges really fast, when I first received it it had 80% battery life and within the few minutes it took me to download the app and print something It was already at 100% battery. The app is really cool. Connecting to the printer was seamless, and very fast using the app. My phone was able to find the printer right away within the app. The app itself was also pretty surprising, because I expected just a basic printing interface but it came with so much more than just that. There's also a ton of templates for you to select from and print. This includes to do lists, coloring pages for kids, and even puzzles/sudoku's. I'm not joking when I say I never saw that coming and it's actually mind blowing how much stuff is on that app in addition to the expected printing dashboard. As for the actual print, I have nothing to say because it does the job perfectly. It's quick, easy, and a really good solid print. On the app, you are able to adjust color, brightness, the size of what you want to print, where you want it on the page, and a lot of other things. It gives you a lot of options to make sure the print comes out exactly how you wantThe size of the paper you use is also customizable. You are able to adjust the thing that holds the paper in correctly to a bunch of different sizes and within the app you are able to input what size the paper is so you don't have to worry about if the paper you bought will fit. As long as it is smaller than A4/US letter size then it will be fine. I think it does need to be wider than 5 inches though, the adjuster only slides so much. You insert the paper one piece at a time, or if it's a roll then just the front. There is not a feeder option or a tray. One thing I will mention that I think is common sense, but for me it was not, is that this needs thermal paper. I don't know why that didn't occur to me and luckily it came with 10 pages of its own thermal paper, but I did have to order special thermal paper for this Which I was able to find 100 sheets for $7 same-day shipping on Amazon so I'm not really that caught up on it. But just remember you do need special paperAnd the last thing I wanna mention is that if you are using this to print shipping labels, you are not supposed to put tape over thermal paper as there is a reaction and the tape can cause the paper to darken overtime. Personally, I still did it as I know the effect can take a few weeks, and I know my package will get where it's needing to go before the effects can start to take place. But if you're wanting to use this to print return label labels or shipping label labels, invest in thermal sticker paper so you don't have to put tape over it.All in all, I have nothing negative to say about this, this was absolutely one of the best buys I've made in a long time. I may have gotten it for a stupid reason, but I know I'll be using it more than my regular printer at this point. I'm completely in love! 10/10 I love this. worth the price!!!

Love this item. Printed documents from my phone and can take it with me even printing from a car. No ink needed. Quick set up from my phone and I used it for multiple items the first day I got it.

Downloaded the app, obviously have Bluetooth enabled. Absolutely impossible to connect the printer. Endless “printer not found” messages on the app even after rebooting all devices. The little leaflet is very basic but contains a QR code to get 24 hour support - all in Chinese, impossible to change language. The on/off button doesn’t work, it’s on all of the time. I rarely have to use a printer but got this for the odd job as it is so compact but a massive disappointment and it’s going back.
