I really like this odometer. It's less than half what I would spend on a Garmin, and it is just as reliable. My only qualm is how small the running average is (on the top left). I wish that were much larger. The display is also a bit hard to see in the bright sunshine. I'm wondering why the speed metric shows twice on the main display. Is there perhaps a way to change one of them to the uptodate average?

Great unit. I'm a fairly serious rider (powermeter, HR, etc.) and it pairs to just about everything (except the new Coros arm HRM) and works great. Maps are all now predownloaded for all areas, no need to connect to a computer. Uploads to Strava instantly, automatically and you can make routes on Strava and directly send them to the unit via the phone app super easily. Varia and other radars work well, with the small car icons. Navigation is turn-by-turn, without street names listed, but is easy to follow and you do see all the surrounding streets on the map. Unit beeps REALLY Loud, which is great for radar, not so great on the nav if there are a lot of turns as you can't turn off nav beeps. Screen isn't as clear as the advertised images, especially in bright sunlight but isn't a problem. Phone app is actually very good, makes it super easy to edit data fields, layout, etc. It's not quite as good as a Garmin 500/800, but costs 1/4th the price and does 90%+ of the features quite well. No climbpro equivalent. This is an easy recommend for someone not wanting to spend $300+, but if you really want the 'best' unit, the Garmin units do everything this does, slightly but noticeably better, but now that I've used this a bunch, I really like it and don't miss my Garmin Edge at all, which is high praise from me, as I consider myself a serious cyclist, and really will only use good worth-it products.

I love my bike computer. It does 95% of everything really really good. But one of the core features it kinda fails on. There is a lag with the GPS, so sometimes by the time I get to the intersection, I overshoot it, because the GPS takes a little extra time to catch up to where you're really at. The rerouting is not good. I knew this. But it does make a big difference. Sometimes I get lost, or sometimes I just want to go off course, but it struggles to help me get back on course. Other than that it's badass. Super cheap little unit that will make your bike rides a million times better.

I was looking at Garmin computers because I have other Garmin products and have been happy with them but I had to be honest with myself and decide if I really wanted to spend $300+ for a computer with added features I'd never use. I'm very happy with the BSC300T, it has all the features I'd want in a computer in a small, lightweight package. Setup and pairing was a breeze using the iGPSORT app and I was surprised to see that all the maps have been preloaded (its seems some older BSC300 units required them to be uploaded). The touchscreen on this newer model (BSC300T) makes navigation through the menus very easy. It's also important to note that the touch screen model now has the charge port on the rear of the computer as opposed to the underside which means the unit can be charged without removing it from the bike (depending on how you have it mounted). This one gets my recommendation.

Function and features are outstanding and able to put what you want to see on the screen, NICE. Riding at night it is outstanding. Daytime it is TOTAL USELESS. So much glare on the screen you are unable to read the display. For the price you pay for this unit and with today technology it is unacceptable. If you ride over 100 miles less values are displayed.
