This is an amazing-looking kit. However, it is very difficult to accomplish the look. I definitely don't recommend it for beginners.

Fun starte set. Adorable theme. The instructions are clear and easily followed. It comes with all the tools and materials needed to make your own little display. The needles are strong and the felt colors are very bright. We highly recommend this set to others it is a budget friendly find amd would make a fabulous gift. It was fun to do and fun to show others. We would order from this company again.

I got this with ZERO experience needle felting. There was definitely a learning curve and I think they could have definitely included some general "rules of thumb" for how to approach it, but once I got the hang of it it became my favorite thing. It was fun to do and I loved the decoration aspect. I didn't end up finishing it all before the Halloween season ended, but I fully intend to finish it all next season. I would buy any kits again!

I’m more of an intermediate level making things without kits and adding my own little flair, and I think this kit is pretty great! It’s the best I’ve ordered so far… The provided tools are solid, and the printed directions are really good! The only thing it’s lacking is noting which size needle to use as it changes. Not including that info is more of an intermediate to advanced user thing to do.I’ve made two of the items so far and honestly I think they are a bit advanced for a beginner. When I started I would have been overwhelmed with the hand, even if the directions were clear. However, they do provide the necessary supplies for creating an armature as a base for some of the pieces. That makes it a LOT easier to work with and moveable as opposed to it just being felt.I love that these have more than enough felt to change up the details… Which I tend to do. Like on the hand, I made it more gory than just a wound and a few scrapes. And I gave the tombstone more personality as well.I’m really looking forward to the surprise of which piece is behind each box to work on next to create the scene. They even put the item’s directions in a different order in the book to keep it interesting! It’s a fun presentation! I’d make more of this company’s seasonal scene kits in a heartbeat!

Like most felting kits, this comes with all the things you need to make the shown creatures. I will caution that if you are a beginner, felting is a lot like sculpting, and you have to give yourself the grace to accept that converting 2-D to 3-D is not always smooth.These creatures are not as simple as most beginner kits, but not complex, either. They are a good step from beginner to learning how to do more complex shapes. I do suggest getting more needles. These kits never have enough, and breaking them is just part of the process. Felt dense enough to keep shape, but not so dense that there is no plush feel to the shapes, otherwise you will run out of wool, too. The instructions aren't always clear on how much wool to use.

This was super fun, and had an awesome assortment of tools! I've only felted a couple times before this, and the extra needles, foam block, and all of the projects in here cemented my newfound love for felting! Highly recommend if you're a fan of felting and/or Halloween!

With some minor refinements, this could be an excellent Halloween gift. It includes the felt working pad, finger protectors, multiple needles, a needle holder, instructions, and all the necessary components for each felting project. I had never felted before, so I needed to learn from a beginner standpoint. The directions were okay. They're not unclear, but they could be a bit better for those starting out.The individual doors are perforated, with the intention that each opens individually. However, execution wasn't great. I ended up ripping open multiple compartments in a gentle attempt to open a single one. Not a big deal. The days and manual are all out of order, so you have to flip around through the catalog to find the correct day. It took me too long to realize that the corresponding project was labeled inside each door, so I initially started out trying to figure out which felt colors matched which project.I did have a few needles snap on me and the needle kept slipping out of the holder, no matter how tightly I tried wedging it. The instructions also didn't specify how to use the needle holder and it appeared the individual in the manual was using the needle alone without the holder. That was kind of a hassle to figure out. And the needles leave behind gray/black residue on your fingers.Overall, it's a fun craft project. You end up with some leftover felt from most projects, so you can play around with crafting other things. Kept me busy during my covid recovery. Great purchase.
