Got this in July of 21 for under $30, it's held up to 1.5 years of catching logs. Zero rust and in Iowa that's amazing. It did come unhooked once or twice but that was my fault for not checking to see which side would be pulled against the target causing it to open yet through design of hook and proper rigging it held until safely on the ground. All in all it's a great hook for rigging, it's also fun watching new guys try to unlatch and open it because it's backwards from what most people are used to with latched on hooks (the hook is hinged not the "lock")

Hook appears to be of really good quality- unfortunately mine broke a few weeks after getting it. I ordered another one- we will see how long that one lasts...

Seems well made, but what I received differs slightly from what is pictured. Rather than the pictured clasp style the one I got has an overlapping clasp. Shouldn't be a big deal for my purposes but could be an issue for some.
