As with most pool inflatables, there's a very strong smell of vinyl when you unbox this adorable rainbow drink holder. But it is easy enough to inflate at least. I find the extra little flap inside most valves nowadays that stop air from escaping as you inflate it actually gets in the way of me inflating it (the old fashioned way at least - former trumpet player here). But this valve is simultaneously wide in diameter unlike the pool floats of the 80s and 90s, and doesn't have that annoying backflow flap. It was a breeze to get it inflated without breaking out the air pump. If you are using an air pump though, this personal nitpick nonsense doesn't affect you at all, lol.SInce I'm lucky enough to have a pool in an area where the water temp can get up over 90*F (with no heater, just regular sunshine) in the summer, I don't really use drink holders IN the pool unless they're the kind you can pop in the freezer. The warm water would just make the drinks warm too. For me, this item works better on the buffet or drinks table as a centerpiece. Fill with ice, and use to keep your shrimp, coleslaw, or deviled eggs chilled. Or your drinks, of course. Orrrr line it with parchment paper and fill the inner cavity with chips and put glasses of various dips around in the cupholders.If you entertain in the summer, you need a cute useful thing like this in your bag of tricks. I love mine!

This thing is really cute. The kids wanted to use it as a floaty and honestly I let them because we found we don't really need a drink holder in a pool that has children SPLASHING around like crazy. No way am I putting my drinks at risk while the little children splash and play and cause waves in the pool. The light feature was a touch tricky to figure out and fine tune, but after a day in the sun we definitely had an illuminated floaty at night since its solar powered. Cute idea and great as a drink holder or floaty or just a tray for kids to put pool toys into.

This rainbow drink holder is super cool. It is solar powered. So just inflate it and it comes on magically at dusk. Love the solar power, it is low maintenance. The cup holders are deep enough to hold a solo cup. Looks beautiful at night.

This drink pool float work great! It sure makes it more convenient than needing to get out of the pool to fetch your soda…plus there’s even a section in the center that you can put some snacks in if you wanted too. I wasn’t prepared for that but I will be for my pool party that I am planning for next month!!! I can’t wait to use this & my LED pool floats!!! Don’t pass this up! You won’t regret it!

I knew from the pictures of the product that it would be cute, but I had no idea just how cute this would be when I ordered it. It is absolutely the cutest thing. It looks fun in the daytime and at night when it lights up it's a whole extra level of cute and fun. The cup holders are well balanced and great size I haven't had a single cup that didn't fit in it well, and it holds it securely without feeling like it's hard to get the cup out and the extra section is great for snacks or a phone or whatever you need to hold safely out of the water. I absolutely love having this in our pool.

I was a bit surprised at how durable this was! it stayed blown up all summer long and I think it will last well for many years. it only got 4 stars because the lights are not as bright as they are in the photos but that didn't bother me much.

I love this! You don't really notice that it is lit up during the daytime though. But at night it looks beautiful
