I bought this camera to take on my trip to Hawaii and with the very first use it broke. I took it snorkeling about 1-3ft deep and the camera stopped working. Got out of the water and the camera was clearly water logged, despite the sides being tightly closed without orange showing. Really disappointed as I won’t be back for years and I wanted these life long videos

I love this camera and I've only used the basic features of this camera. I do wish I spent extra $300 to get the Insta360 X5 but I'm still satisfied with this camera. I love the 360° feature. I especially LOVE the voice activation feature. I've reviewed the Youtube feedback and I had no issue activating the camera using my voice to take pictures, record video or even shut down the camera. People looked at me during my snowtrip but people were more amazed with the voice activation rather than thinking it's dumb. I can see the shock and awe of the voice activation feature. Highly recommended. The only downside is the battery that came with the camera. I had to buy the extra 3rd party batteries that worked better.

Best multipurpose camera/video camera yet! This item is everything because it is small enough to sneak into events and pack into luggages. As a person who loves gadgets this is a must have device in my tech arsenal.The option to switch from photos to videos and the other options works wonders.

It is heavy and feels well built. There are a lot of accessories for it. Video quality is good. Battery life is way better than on my hero 5 session. You can get more batteries for it. You can get additional memory cards for it. The issue is editing the videos. There is a free app. If you have a computer from 2012, then you will immediately be tempted to buy a more powerful computer. I would say I7 processor at least and 16 GB ram with a good graphics card are needed. I have an old I5 with 8GB ram, and it will not play the video. It just starts and stops and stutters and freezes. You can still use the app if you don’t hit the play button. Just click in the slider to find the area that you want to edit and save the changes. You can watch it later…after it is exported as an mp4. The camera/battery gets hot if you run it for long periods, unless you are using it on a motorcycle or hanging it out of the car. Mine doesn’t get hot while riding at all. We used for a stroll through a flower garden and it got hot enough to shut itself off. When it cooled down I check to see how much battery was left and it had over half a charge left and worked fine.

This is our first 360 video camera and we love it. It’s easy to use and editing the film is really easy. We’ve made some fabulous skiing videos and being able to have music as well as our voices in the video really improved the viewing experience. The film quality is brilliant and the automatic removal of the selfie stick from the video was superb. Our friends couldn’t believe how we’d made these videos so easily. Being able to choose different views in the editing process meant that we could choose exactly what to show for each second of the video. We absolutely love it.

I got into this camera after seeing someone recorded their wedding with it, so i thought i would do the same! Which i did! Set it up on a tripod and let it do all the work! Only thing is, editing all the 360 footage is a major pain. Lol. The camera itself is small and light but very clean and clear!I had some issues with the streaming feature though. But there are a ton of Youtube videos on how to fix it.

Insta360 did a great job giving all of us a solid, easy to use, and watchable system for making and posting videos. It's like having a second person acting as cameraman while you enjoy an activity, forgetting the camera altogether as it films you and everything around you. Later you pick the best angles and snippets to share, like a music video, for everybody to see
