“GROUND WIRE Only “Remove shim for 1/0 wire but need shim for wire that manufacture supplied with vehicle. Use a very small drop of blue lock tight on set screws just in case but not necessary! Battery terminals will just slide down over the 51R Ground terminal! The Alan head bolt and lock wash and nut will tighten very tight so don’t tighten too much or you may not be able to open the battery terminal back up to remove the battery terminal. ( I did tight mine a lot and did not try to remove it) Won’t need the shim for battery terminals that is supplied. Did not install positive terminal as I use a longer bolt on manufacturer battery terminal when I install 1/0 wire off alternator. Works for the Big Three only!!!! The small holes are for Fog light wires . I may use the positive , when I figure out how to remove all the stuff off the positive wires. They are heavy and thick. YOU will not be able to spread them open to make them wider to fit over battery terminal. Do a quick measurement, In MM of the Top of your battery terminal and use the reference measurements given in description . My vehicle is an older 2010 Honda Civic DX-G. Canadians Pay $28.73. Not sure if the same people sell the same ones with the plastic covers or not. I would like to buy the other ones, even though the plastic covers will break on me HahahMy 83 year old mother even like them and said how heavy they are and if they were made from gold and sliver. lol

I got these for a 2nd xterra after the factory clamps kept coming loose, and they fit the G34 terminals well.The truck comes with a fused positive lead and the clamp would not fit. I made a short 2g pony wire to connect them.The grub screw provides great clamping force, but I think I’ll add a drop of lock tite to make sure it stays.

These look to be made of great material. Very thick. Way better than the standard type out there for around the same cost. If you’re looking to clean up all the extra wires off your battery. These are the ones you need. I purchased another set for a different vehicle as well. Will buy again.

These look very nice. They do not go down on the terminal completely but they stay on once you tighten them. Very easy to install if you have the right tools. Not a bad price for them ether. I recommend buying them if you have a allen wrench and wrench or socket wrench

Bought a new lithium battery, old terminals looked pretty out of place with my new expensive battery. Wanted to clean it all up and upgrade to larger gauge ground and power cables. This made it look sexual under my hood. Perfecto!

So. Ive had quite some time to test and put these battery terminals through some work. Personally, I'm not satisfied with this product. Right out of the box I noticed something that was immediately a red flag to me. That red flag being the terminals where they slip over the battery posts weren't tapered. (For those of you who dont know this Battery Posts have a slight taper and decrease in diameter toward the top of the post.) Evidently, the so called "engineer" who designed the battery terminals didn't take this into account. Due to this first point the teminal cannot properly be installed onto the battery and will slip off over time and not to mention the lack there of contact area from the terminal to the post due to there not being a taper. Causing sparks, excessive resistance in your electrical circuits, and eventually cause thermal events (Fires).The second issue at hand is the taper inserts provided with the terminals.... The issue here is that the terminals are already under sized to begin with and theres no way for them to be installed onto the battery in any way with said shims included. The Battery terminals dig into the battery posts and damage them. Witch isn't hard to do to begin with due to Lead being such a soft material. Witch brings me to my last point.The terminals are made of material that's way to hard for the application. Battery terminals have to be able to flex in order to provide the proper clamping forces over the battery posts otherwise well. You read reason 1, Teminal cannot be installed properly -> fire.That all said. IF you have the resources to properly taper the terminals yourself at home and don't mind the extra work. These work great for battery relocation terminals and let me be clear. Im in no way trying to make the seller or engineer look bad.I'm simply providing constructive criticism.To the sellers best interest. And buyers in the future. TAPER YOUR TERMINALS TO FIT YOUR BATTERY POSTS!Your life's may depend on it. Your cars or vehicles sure do.In the photos provided. You can see that the positive terminal dosent sit on the post fully and has a gap at the top of the post. And the negative post. I had to cut the provided taper shim and place it in between the terminal and battery post due to my battery having different sizes from positive to negitive.
