Base metal that screw goes thru is slightly thinner than original plastic door handle. That said, it is metal and should be stronger. I plan on ordering another set soon for another Ford F250 pickup. Good price and Very Fast delivery. Looks good and works well. -David S.

Fits great but is poorly made cast metal and it broke within 4 months of purchase. I use it like any normal person would. Unfortunately it just didn’t last

Drivers handle in 95 Bronco broke for the 3rd time. He was able to take the door apart and replace it himself. My husband is very handy, a wood worker, mechanical dabbler so it maybe more than the average person wants to tackle. Works great.

I first used this item about 3 years ago, replacing the driver's side door handle on my 1993 Ford F150.I had to remove the door panel was the biggest hurdle, and it wasn't hard.Recently, that same handle broke off and I had to replace it the second time. No biggie, and I recommend it for an economical replacement.

I drive a 1995 Ford F150 XLT. My handle quit working and I eventually broke it from tugging too hard. This one is way more durable that the OEM plastic one it had. My door works great now! Fit just right. Looks great! If you have this era of Ford, chances are you’ll eventually run into this issue if you haven’t already. This is an excellent replacement.
