I was not happy with leaving my lithium battery chargers running all night long. this timer is the right time duration for such things. I crank it to 1 hour if i am charging makita or dewalt batteries. I crank it to 3 hours if i am recharding Ego 48 V batteries. It works as advertised, and give me some peace of mind too.I just installed it into a metal double electrical box with space for a duplex outlet too, mounted to a small piece of plywood.

Installed this on a fuel centrifuge system to avoid overfilling destination tank. Wired to switching of fuel pump and centrifuge, worked well for my purpose.

If you need a Switch replace it with this timer, it will control your kitchen vent fan, this is the thing for you it will hold it on for up to 4 hours so you won't have to remember while you're cooking to turn it off. It is very accurate and does a great job. It was easy to install with the included instructions. Mine is on an American Standard 115v system. I simply swapped out the toggle switch for this one.UPDATE: Nov. 2017:It stopped working. Will not shut off you have to manually turn it off now. Should have stuck with a toggle switch. They used to be a great company now...?

Simple and reliable, no worries about grounding etc. I use it to run a whole attic fan when I go to bed. You can set the time to within about 15 minutes on the 4 hour timer. You wonder why the don't change the words "brushed metal" when everyone is downgrading the product (including me) because it is plastic. Timer noise is not an issue for me, so I haven't based my rating on that parameter.

This replaces a 12hr timer that would often stop. The solar system is used to charge Li-Ion and Ni-Cad batteries. The Ni-Cad can be damaged by overcharging so we limit to charge to 4 hours.Nice loud "tick" so you can tell whether it's on and working without peering at the dial. Simple to install, obvious to operate; can't think of what could go wrong!
