I use this with my soldering iron. I kept forgetting to unplug it which is dangerous. Now the worst that happens is my iron shuts off and gets cold. All I do is select the button and I up and running.

Every once in a while when I’m in a hurry I wonder if I turned off the iron or some other appliance. This is perfect and so easy. I set it for the number of minutes that I need and I always know everything is off when I leave the house

Only have this for a week. Meets my expectations. Use it for a small electric heater on low in my bathroom, that I only run for 10 or 15 minutes. The run time is accurate. And the plug does not get hot, as I was concerned with a heater (I use on the lower wattage 750). So far I’m happy won’t forget to turn the heater off!

I bought a curling iron that doesn't have an auto-shutoff so I use this. I can plug my curling iron into this outlet and then choose 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the power is turned off just in case I forget.

Used to control exhaust fan in bathroom. Worked great for about two weeks then started working inconsistently. Doesn’t always allow me to set 5 min without playing around with selector. I am a little too far from a return location or I would return it for a replacement. Nice design, nice product for the cost…

I was looking for a switch to let me turn on a UV lamp and have it shut off after a set amount of time, so that I would stop forgetting to turn it off. I don't normally write bad reviews, since I tend to give products the benefit of the doubt and there are always scenarios were a great product can have a dud. Having to replace it and having the replacement not work, I no don't trust them to try a third time. They need to do a much better quality control on these, since both of the two I tried didn't work, for opposite reasons. I would avoid until they get this sorted.The first one wouldn't turn on at all. The button worked, and would show the LED of what the timer was supposed to be set for, but it wouldn't trip the relay to actually turn on the device. So I returned it.The replacement was the opposite. It wouldn't turn off at all. The LED again would go through the sequence and setting it to 5 Min for example, the 5 Min LED would go off after 5 minutes, but the plugged in device would stay on.
