The poles are made of fiber glass and now my family and I are treating our hands for fiber glass slivers for the past 3 days now after touching the poles to put it together.

Plenty of room for 4 adults or 6 kids. Very study and comfortable. The Eos review saying fiberglass slivers is a flat out lie! The canopy poles are same used for tents. Only concern is the plastic end cap snaps that connect between the main poles. Over time the sun/heat may compromise them.
