worked good enough to make a part from 302 stainless. burned up 3 inserts but since these saved the company i work for bookoo bucks since it was an emergency repair. they are replacing my cheap burned ones with higher quality. great set to have on hand to start in these situations. that being said stainless at low speeds is the limit - not a machinist

Are they high end, no, do they cut metal, yes, as I am teaching myself how to run my lathe, I am not crying over broken carbide.

Haven't had a chance to use them yet but the inserts look of good quality. Upsized my tool holders. Should work great.
