Add to description pole is not hollow these are a solid piece of fiberglass. Used these today was skeptical at purchase but today along with the ropes that come with they held our boat in spring water currents once they were in the water aprox 3-4’ ft of water. I can’t see using these in the brackets on any boat they are not necessary for these things no matter what brand but with their ropes the pure flexibility and capable movement make the poles priceless.

My gf bought this for my boat. The handle broke within 10 minutes of using it. For that much money I would’ve expected a much better quality product

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! The handle broke when I was putting it in my boat. I was tucking it into my under gunnel storage area, when the handle tapped the side of the gunnel and fell off. For $130 I was expecting better durability. As you can see in the picture there is not much plastic holding the handle together.

Excellent for anchoring boat in swallow areas. Works great on my 25 ft. Proline boat. Solid core and well made. Metal screw point makes for easy securing to sand. I recommend this product.

This is an update to my precious review as I had submitted it before giving the seller a chance to make good for the product. After contacting the buyer about my issue, he was very helpful in making everything correct. The original product did have some defect, bit the seller stood behind his product to correct the issue. So I am grateful to Salty Adventurer for the excellent customer service.

I use this inshore Florida waterways. Works perfectly for my 17’ Stingray. The SS tip easily breaks through oyster beds and holds the boat even in strong currents.
