These are pretty decent ear muffs for the price. I found them to be comfortable for extended wear, and they gave an amount of noise reduction expected for the rated decimal level (I always recommend using ear plugs along with ear muffs when shooting to get maximum hearing protection). They fold up into a compact size, they adjust well (although the wire adjustment system isn't the smoothest), the clamping pressure is comfortable, and the cushioning and the cups appear to be of good quality. My only concern would be where the wire extenders go into plastic housings. I've had those break over time in other ear muffs, so that might be the life-limiting item on this unit (but it took a few years).

This headset fits well and moves easily into place. The problems, however, are that I'm not sure how well this does against noise. I have a similar pair of hearing protection from a more established brand and the difference is very noticeable. They feel comfortable on my ears, but I have little confidence that this pair will reduce noise the way I want it to or that I'm used to. It's a good back up for when you forget everything else.

High quality ear protection on the range and off! Protect your hearing as much as possible. These are Passive - not electronic but work well to keep the highest DB away from your ears and always great to have and extra set to loan out.Great value for money and great comfort for longer term wear.5/5

I got these to use at the range and really do like them. They seem to do the trick with suppressing the noise. I am however marking them down due to durability concerns. The earpieces are only attached to the headband with two metal wires on each side. When adjusted to the maximum size for an adult head, the wires seem like they can be easily bent. I’ll update if I experience any issues with these but they are a decent pair of low cost ear protection and they are comfortable to wear.

If you go to the range, you'll know that more ear protection is always better with shooting practice, so these are definitely not a substitute for "doubling up" your ear protection (using ear plugs along with these). That said, these are very comfortable, compact, and have a nice sleek look. They match my Lifepod case that I use to transport my firearms to the range. The ear muffs can also be used rather effectively with power tools, but with that, they provide 90% of my other power tool specific ear muff's "clinging" ability. Still providing a seal around my ear, just not quite as tightly as others. A great set to easily store in a case when needed.

I really like the quality of these earmuffs. They are highly effective and very comfortable wear. They have a nice spring pressure against the side of the head that completely seals the earmuffs around the ear. They are excellent at suppressing noise. I mainly wanted them to use with my yard power tools, but find they will work just as well with shooting firearms. Their 23 dB noise reduction rating is enough to suppress all of the typical loud noises I find myself being exposed to, including other power tools like an electric circular saw. I like the overall appearance of these earmuffs. They are streamlined and sporty. The jaeger green color has a classic subdued look.

These offer good noise protection in a slim, lightweight, comfortable, comfortable enough to be worn for hours and hours. The rated 23dB Noise Reduction Rating is adequate for all of the everyday noisy environments including (for me) working around noisy machinery and firing pistols and rifles at the indoor range. The slim design is especially an advantage with firing a rifle; other ear protection seems to always be in the way for looking through a sight or even at a red dot.Definitely recommended for good ear protection at a very reasonable price.

It's a little ironic to me that a company that made its name on hearing protection with speakers built in is now manufacturing "dumb" earmuffs, but these do work and are high quality.Obviously the NRR of 23 dB isn't a ton, but it's reasonably in line with competing products. If you're looking at slim earmuffs to begin with it's likely because you need to butt your head against something pretty close (tighter than the big 30 dB NRR will let you) and compromises inherently have to be made. 23 isn't the best NRR available in this form factor, though, and that's why I only gave 4 stars.I will say that the contact region around the cups is a bit more conformal and comfortable than other earmuffs I've used of this style. And I haven't grabbed my calipers, but I do think these are a hair thinner than my other, differently branded, pair. A peculiarity in the unit I received is that there are no Right or Left markings on the ear cups, but it's easy to figure out which way they go on by looking at the picture. I frankly doubt it matters very much, because at rest each cup face is coplanar.I think at thirty dollars these represent a reasonable value. Most of the less expensive competing options are from no-name companies, and I want to buy any form of PPE from a reputable source since I'm literally trusting my safety to it.
