Used as the second stage for iSpring Direct Connect under sink water filter system US21B and iSpring whole house filtration system WGB21B or the first stage of iSpring whole house filtration systems WGB21BM and WGB21B-PB. The carbon block filter consists of high-quality activated carbon. It is effective in reducing free chlorine, bad taste, odor, THM, organics, hazardous chemicals, and more. After installing and flushing the filter our well water was noticeably clearer. We never had bad tasting water to begin with but it wasn't perfectly clear, now with this filter it is perfectly clear. The filter end caps were cracked during shipping but the company sent a replacement. I suggested they add a little additional protection to the packaging on the ends to try and reduce the chance of the plastic end caps being cracked. I am looking at upgrading to a whole home water filter and due to their customer service I will be going with iSpring when I do purchase one.

This lasted about a month. It does a good job of getting rid of the chlorine that we have to use in our home purification system. The water is clear AA quality lake water, but it has to be chlorinated to get rid of nuisance levels of bacteria and algae. I would prefer if it lasted a little longer but the water tastes good and provides adequate pressure for over a month.

This ispring carbon filter works perfectly. Last a long time and removes the bad chlorine taste and smell. No noticeable drop of pressure. It’s the only one i buy now.For a family of 4. On municipal water i change it once a year.
