This machine is such a work of art and honestly makes cooking takoyaki a fun thing to do whether solo, for guests, or with friends. I've actually tested this outside also during a windy day and while i'll say that it does require an absolutely leveled position, it is def usable even outdoors (although better inside).It evenly cooks the takoyaki for the most part and although at times it feels like one or two of the outside edge slots don't heat as consistent as some others, i tend to just swap some takoyaki over if some cook faster than the others. Also 2nd batch cooks much faster due to the preheating from the last batch if you plan to make a lot which is nice. Honestly the takoyaki made tends to taste better than the restaurant stuff and its less costly for more quantity while also being fun to do. It's a win win in every category.Product is easy to clean and managed to take regular in store butane canisters (used Canadian Tire brand ones, and don't have to opt their proprietary butane cans which is nice). I have yet to make anything else besides takoyaki on this machine but I will experiment with some of their suggested recipes eventually.If you want recommendations on takoyaki supplies, I used Otafuku brand takoyaki mix and takoyaki sauce, and it tasted amazing. I will try making my own takoyaki mix with dashi powder (bonito stock) eventually

Got some scratches on the metal frame, and something like rusty marking on the side, the cover for the butane gas cannot shut properly. Quite disappointed with the quality of the machine, I wouldn’t thought it is made in Japan.

It is much easier to clean due to the removal pan, compared to ones I have had in the past. The heating is even due to the butane heating element and is very easy to use despite not being in English. Very please with this.

多少の温度むらもありますが、火力が強いので表面がカリッと大変美味しく焼けました。取り外し可能なタコ焼きプレートはフッ素加工なのでこびり付かず素人でも簡単に返せて満足してます。更にタコ焼き以外にも専用の五徳が別売りであるようなどで購入しようと思います。

Dieses Takoyaki-Gerät hat mich absolut begeistert! Es macht nicht nur Spaß, damit zu kochen, sondern die Ergebnisse sind auch richtig lecker. Die Takoyaki werden außen knusprig und innen fluffig, genau wie es sein sollte. Auch wenn man manchmal die Kugeln am Rand tauschen muss, weil sie etwas langsamer garen, ist das kein großes Problem. Besonders praktisch ist, dass die zweite Runde viel schneller fertig wird, da das Gerät bereits vorgeheizt ist.Ich habe es drinnen und draußen getestet, wobei es sich drinnen am besten bewährt hat, besonders wenn man sicherstellt, dass es auf einer ebenen Fläche steht. Die Reinigung geht schnell und einfach, und es ist toll, dass man gängige Butangas-Kartuschen verwenden kann, ohne auf spezielle Produkte angewiesen zu sein.Takoyaki selbst zu machen ist nicht nur günstiger als im Restaurant, sondern es macht auch richtig Spaß, vor allem wenn man es mit Freunden oder Familie zubereitet. Insgesamt eine tolle Anschaffung, die ich nur empfehlen kann!

Gifted to adult son and he is very pleased and excited with gift. He immediately used it 3 days in a row for different groups of friends/family with delicious results.It was assumed that he had purchased food from a food cart down the block. Very impressive since PORTLAND foodies are not easily impressed.

La compré porque los reviews en japonés decían que era perfecta para obtener la textura de los puestos callejeros de Japón. El sartén puede quitarse así que igual puede utilizarse en la estufa, pero la textura con esta parrilla fue perfecta! El instructivo viene en japonés pero lo tradujimos con google lens. Las latas de gas butano que sugiere son de la marca Iwatani, que en mi país (México) no puede conseguirse. Utilizamos una lata de 220g de gas butano de marca Truper de valvula 1/4 de vuelta y funcionó perfectamente! Hacerlas fue divertido y fácil!
