This filter is HG Type compatible water filter for SD501HG. NOTE: HG type filter will NOT fit HG-N newer type machine. HG-N type filter has two notches on the center hole. This HG type filter doesn't have the two notches on the center hole. HG type filter is compatible with Original model HG type machine(HG type filter doesn't have the two notches on the center hole), so please make sure if the center hole of your filter has two notches or not. If your current filter has two notches on the center hole, you need to have the HG-N type filter for your machine. HG type filter will not fit HG-N type machine. Worked great and was very happy with this filter but in 5 months it exploded inside my machine and leaked everywhere. It came apart at the seam. Will not buy again

The size fits perfectly to the machine. However, I keep getting a "clean" sign pop-up every 10 days where I need to shut off the machine to reset. Kind of annoying to do so.

It got here fine and fit fine but we've used it for 3 months and I'm already ordering another Enagic filter. I can tell the difference in my body. Yes it's cheaper and I wish the Enagic filters weren't so expensive.....then people wouldn't look for something else. Won't be ordering another! Nothing's worth the money when it doesn't work like it should.

I bought this filter because it was considerably cheaper than the original I normally buy from the kangen machine manufacturer .It fits well in the machine. However the first thing a noticed is that the color is not the same as shown in the amazon advertisement . The one I received was white ans it is not the same as the original.The picture of the product seem to be a picture of the machine manufacturer's of the kangen filter. I have installed it in my machine and see if currently seeing if the filter works well. I will supplement this review later.
