They are sturdy, but the paint kinda chips off. This is pre- both of them falling to the ground. But only one of them shattered, the other was fine. I don't think these are good for putting anything hot in.

They are even cuter in person. If you are a tea drinker you’ll love these. The facts that it’s a tea cup feels validating. Everything in America is geared towards coffee. Coffee is okay but if you love tea, you’ll love these!

I was scared to get these because their were no other reviews or ratings yet, but I couldn’t resist, so I took the risk.These cups are BEAUTIFUL. I love the texture, and I put my back into it when I scrubbed washed/scrubbed them, and they remain unaltered. Really fantastic piece! I hope my comment shows you that there’s no risk when purchasing these tea-cups (although, I don’t drink tea, so my chocolate milk will go into them.)I am so glad I bought these!
