These do the job, though they have less “grip” than I’d prefer. Less grip than prior jar openers of this sort. What that means is that they have a greater tendency to slip, hence necessitate a firmer grip when opening jars. And since I’m starting to get up there in age, that doesn’t bode well for these items in my house. I won’t be returning these, as my wife says she’ll use them as pan separators (when stacking) or as non-slip pads beneath pots, pans & plates on the kitchen counter. But I will be buying additional items of this type that exhibit the “gripiness” I prefer.

My sister could not find in her city. We are senior citizens with arthritis. It's very difficult to open jars without these items. I even have them in a bathroom drawer and a drawer in my nightstand!

use these for ever thing under things that slide = laptop = under phone when charging = opening jars - used to get a 4 pack for 1.00 at dollar tree , before covid have been looking for these for years , just came across them these are better made then my old ones

These work great under a bowl of soup to keep it from sliding on the plate and they also help you open jars. That’s what I use them for, but I’m sure they have many uses.

These jar openers are thicker than ones I've been using! Takes less effort to open items. Really like that !! They are also bright colors easy to find in my messy drawer! Good deal for my money !

The colors allow you to plan a system, such as yellow in the kitchen, green in the laundry room, blue in the bathroom, and red out in the garage or work area, for example. You could just put them all in the kitchen to open the jars, as it is really up to you, of course. I have these throughout the house as they are really handy and are great helpers when my arthritis is acting up, or for when I just need help opening something that I cannot seem to grip strongly enough on my own. Colorful and recommended, fairly sturdy, but can tear easily if you are not careful. Does a great job and you get more than enough in a package to last you a good deal of time.
