These are what I call spring rods. Great value, perfect for hanging curtains, very sturdy the have great tension for holding these curtains.

I looked for this type of curtain rod local and could not find it. I was so happy to find a 3 pack on Amazon here! They were just what I was hoping for and the size was true to the description. I used them to hold a up a second set of curtain inside the window sill. They stay up nice and secure which is impressive since the curtains are not very light.

the rods are very touchy when put between sides of window frame, they don't like to stay up all the time

Easy to use, and they hold their place. I sometimes have to give them a tweak if I remove them/reinstall them, but it's certainly easy and fast to do.
