I purchased the 16 - 24 inch rod - and while I do feel it’s overpriced, it is a high quality, strong pressure tension rod with nice, textured rubber end caps. I purchased it to hang a 4 pound stained glass panel in a narrow window - and it’s working beautifully. I’m very confident it will remain firmly in place even with the substantial weight suspended from it.

I put in a new bathroom window but decided to put in clear glass, not the typical privacy glass most bathroom windows have. A friend complained, though, that they needed to have more privacy. So I bought a small curtain and this rod to hang the curtain from. At first I thought I made a mistake because the adjusting screw seemed like it wouldn't hold its position. Well it did. So it was a very inexpensive fix to a need for privacy.

I'm going on 62 years old and my mother used "this type of tension rods" WHICH LASTED her lifetime! I have looked at and seen the cheaply made ones you can by at your local stores and they break at times when just trying to put them up. I went on the description and pictures when I first bought these AND COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY ARE THE GREAT QUALITY like the ones my mother used. They work so well that I will give you 1 tip, cut and place a piece of "poster paper" where the rubber meets the window frame IF IT'S WOOD because they work so well the rubber tips have little grippers that can leave an imprint in the wood/paint if you don't use this little trick/tip. Also a great value for the money because of the quality, department store ones were 2-3 times more in cost and as I stated very cheaply made. So happy to have found these :) :)

Works very well as a clothes rod in a kitchen cabinet which was designed as a coat closet. Strong enough to hold 7 or 8 jackets without moving. Easy to install once I figured it out.

Big box store didnt carry tension rods this short. This is better than just a spring rod because it has the screw on the back that allows for a perfect fit. Liked that it was not round, instead has a flat rod for better form for the curtain. Will buy more soon as I hang more lace curtains

We recently had our house renovated and purchased these rods to hang roman shades in all of the windows, so that we wouldn't make nail holes in the framing. We bought 14 of these and they were really easy to install and have held in place without a single mishap. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of these items. It's just a bonus that they were so inexpensive. With this kind of quality, I would have paid more for them.
