My grand dtrs scooped them up quickly tho it was supposed to be a family valentine gift . Little devils. I heard the are called “ peanut butter and jelly “.They love them. I heard that the fan is little noisy but it’s ok in general

Within one day this lamp stopped working. Worse, it made a horrible burning smell and now it will not turn on anymore. Waiting to see if company will refund my purchase. Unfortunately I moved right after I bought it and did not plug it in until two months after I bought it so missed the Amazon return window. Got one day with this lamp functional. I will update this review if company offers an exchange or refund. Otherwise DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

I purchased 2 of these this past Christmas, for my two grandchildren age 5 and 8. They both are thrilled with them! And I personally think they are very pretty, and relaxing to watch! My grandkids are happy with them, which makes me happy!

I was expecting this to be like the old lava lamps except updated with jellyfish instead of blobs. To that extent I was disappointed but I like the lamp nonetheless. The tank is filled with tap water and a few drops of dish soap and the jellyfish are dropped in before closing the cover. Using the included remote, turn the lamp on and LED light is emitted from the base through the water column and some air bubbles are generated which cause the jellyfish to dance around in the tank. It is actually quite fun to watch. The lamp does not provide a great deal of light but it is an interesting accent piece when placed on a table or bedstand. We have ours on the TV table so when commercials come on there is a distraction. It is entertaining to watch the jellyfish cavort about the tank with their tentacles dangling. Using the remote you can change the color of the lights to whatever suits your decor or your mood. The light, although not terribly bright, is dimmable if you use this as a nightlight on the bedstand. After my initial disappointment that it was not a lava lamp I can say I do like it and it has found a place in our family room.
