I cannot tell you how much my teenager liked this product when I gave it to him for Christmas. I swear I've showed a lava lamp before I bought it but the reaction to one in real life, the kids love it!

When this lamp arrived, the bulb was broken and did not work. But I found 25 watt did work, and it is very beautiful. I love this Lava Lamp so much! I couldn't believe it when I found this one, with black wax and purple liquid.It arrived on time and other than the bulb not working, it is a wonderful lamp and I found it to be a great product and a great price. I can recommend this Lava Lamp to anyone who likes Lava Lamps. It is perfect!

After 5 hours, the bulb stopped working. when i went out and bought a new bulb, it worked fine. but the lava portion would not be lava afterwards. it stuck in a big globule and basically burned itself out again.this piece gets very hot after a short time and it's difficult to find the right place for it.

I'm almost certain the companies are using the same stock bulb supplier. Two of the bulbs are nearly identical and in both the lava lamps I've purchased here they are dim, and the wax doesn't move well. Then, after a short period the bulb blows. This one had the glass part of the bulb separated from the base....How?!

I've had several lava lights back over the years and this one does not flow like it should, where it makes the separate round lava globs. Maybe they use a different type of wax. Also it was kind of cloudy. The color was not very bright. I returned it.

I give this product 4 stars only because of its size. I liked everything else about it but ultimately the size was a deal breaker for my use caseFor most rooms this unit would be a perfect size and Lava Lamp brand is worth the price difference over the copy cat brands.I went direct to Lava Lamp to buy a larger unit, and have 2 of their smaller units I bought for my kids. If you want a lava lamp my advice is go with the original

I have about 8 of these lamps and this one for some reason is cloudy. I’ve tried all the tricks, but can’t seem to get it to clear up at all. Too bad too because the purple and black would look awesome.

Light bulb did not work in the first one I ordered. I contacted the seller and asked for a replacement bulb. They replied that they do not warranty parts sold through Amazon because they are not within their control. What? That's not how this works...I can still just return the whole thing, which I did, and bought a replacement. That one is working just fine, and my kid is very happy with it. So overall happy with it, but customer support for this seller was not impressive.

its very cloudy... seems to have old wax....or something?....seems to move alot slower then my other lamps I have... its all very hard to see.... even with a the lights are out in my room,... :(

I have numerous lava lamps and this one came, dented, the rim was soft and miss- shaped and I could literally bend it with 2 fingers. The insert for the plug was put in crooked and then it flashed on once and now doesn't work. Don't waste your time with this product

This was a gift for my son, he wanted something fun and cool for his renovated room. The lamp is easy to set up and has clear instructions. There are also helpful troubleshooting options for cloudy or lumpy wax, which worked perfect when followed.

Cheaper lava lamp that I purchased is beautiful. The purple colour is washed out with one black blob 🥺. Very dissapointed!

Dropped the lightbulb on the carpet during opening so it never worked. Replacement bulbs are not sold in stores. So go ahead and order extras with your lamp. The glass appears cloudy. I thought someone with greasy hands had been handling the lamp but it seems whatever that is, is on the inside. Purple liquid looks purple until you shine a light through it then it looks very orange. It's not just the bulb. I shined several different style flashlights through the liquid and they all look orange. Disappointing because the picture on the box looks purple, it's very misleading.
