THIS PRODUCT JUST STOPPED WORKING AFTER LESS THAN 2 MONTHS. POWER WORKS BUT ABSOLUTELY NO SOUND FROM SPEAKERS WHETHER IN CD MODE, RADIO MODE OR BLUTOOTH MODE. IT IS PAST AMAZON RETURN WINDOW AND TO RETURN TO JENSEN MUST PAY THE SHIPPING MYSELF. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A DISPOSABLE ELECTRONIC ITEM WHICH WILL END UP IN A LANDFILL WITH ALL ITS TOXIC COMPONENTS. TRIED EVERY TROUBLESHOOTING STRATEGY AND RESETTING AS PER MANUAL--NOTHING. DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

This is my travel radio. I pack it up and stick it in my suitcase for trips where I fly or put it in a tote for car trips. I have a Bose stereo CD at home - so I wanted good quality - Jensen delivered with this radio/CD player. I love it. Even my brother who is a DJ likes it. The sound quality is great. The CD's go into the front vertically - which takes a minute to master, but then its fine. The radio - all FM is what I use - has allowed me to find a local weather or news station when I travel. And then look for other local radio stations. I use this at the hotel to fall asleep. It turns off automatically at the end of the CD and five minutes.

I love to play all my CD's in this and it has Bluetooth! High quality sound and great price! I also love how I can plug it in or use batteries when I want to travel with it!!

I'd hoped for the best with this purchase, but while I can roll with the sort of muffled sound of the things it plays, I was more disappointed with how finnicky the CD player is (yessss, I still use CDs, but that's the point -- these days, CD players should know what's expected of them). This one's very hit-and-miss with regard to the CDs it'll play, making it more of a roulette wheel than a reliable player. You get what you pay for, sure, but I didn't expect it to bog on as many discs as it did. I won't diss it outright, because when it does play, it plays adequately. But just don't get your hopes up on this one. The sound quality isn't great, but the reliability is a problem.

We bought this to use in our travel trailer because we can’t get our cd’s to play on our stereo speakers. They will only play through the tv speakers and sound tinny. Our cd’s sound so much better when we use the Jensen player. Also, really like the look and size of it.

What a great buy! It's most certainly NOT what I think of as a "BoomBox" (maybe in the Land O' Teensy), but that said, and considering the size and price, it rocks. Clean sound, reasonable volume for a very small player/radio (and the speakers handle up to the max without distortions or misery), and easy to use. The radio function tuning knob works in an odd way - one has to "click"-turn to advance the channels singly, but will continue on if you just hold it turned. I can live with that. The CD player works perfectly. As others have noted, there is no Bass/Treble adjustment - too bad , but the existing preset balance is reasonable, to my taste. Also, all the controls are visible and none are stuck in the back where one has to grope about for tiny nubs. (That sounds a lot weirder than I meant it) Anyway, probably not anyone's 1st choice for a primary music source, but it sure fills that "haul it around" need. Personally, I'll use it to play a bunch of Motown and R&B out on the deck to exercise to. It would also be a good kitchen counter radio. My opinion of the only real "con" is the need to use the (included) transformer- type electric wall plug. It's awkward when one wants to move the player's location, and there is no storage for it. I do wish it were just a regular plug. ( option - put it in a drawer and use batteries? Nah.) now, last, and I have to say it -- it does look very cool indeed.
