First of all, don't let the Jensen brand fool you, this is not the same company that had a solid reputation for audio components. This player worked several times - connected the Bluetooth successfully, mediocre sound quality. Now it won't play any disk I try and gives me a TOC ERR message. I called the service number and after waiting 30 minutes to answer my call was told that the problem is that the lens must be replaced, and suggested returning it to where I purchased it. It's now past the return date, so into the trash it will have to go. Please, please don't waste your money like I did and avoid this garbage!

For The Price This Is An Amazing Buy. Never Skips, Battery Lasts A Long Time And The Blue Tooth Makes This Very Useful. I Have 1000s of CDs So I'm Never Bored Doing Tedious, Boring Jobs Around My House.

Jensen CD Player update.Everything about this player as a solution to play CDs in my car unequipped with a CD player is less than ideal. It took a lot of research and hacking to make it work.1. My car does not have an AUX AV input. 😒2. My Honda "infotainment" system does not recognize the Bluetooth on the CD player, which other wise works fine. Because it only recognizes Mobil phones that have the Hands Free Link software app installed. 😞So that only left one option: FM transmitter into my car's audio system.3. The FM transmitter on the CD player was weak and limited to three frequencies. And all three of them were in use by radio stations in DFW. So there was lots of static. 😞4. That ended up with one choice. I went to Walmart and bought a plug in FM transmitter system for an additional $15. It works great. 😀But it's a kludge. 😞5. The volume levels on the CD player is low and the sound is tubby. It works OK but it is not ideal. :(So if this is something you are seeking because there is not a CD player in your new car, keep looking to find a better quality CD player.

… . I understand that the ear bud cord is the antenna, but it sure would be nice if radio function could connect wirelessly to my Bluetooth speaker. Other than that, it’s a good player, and I’m happy with it.

My dad love this player. It's simple and that's what he wanted. He says it works well and is reliable.
