As small as it is, it is bright (adjustable) and very easy to read. It has all the features I need, including AUX port, so I can listen to my Audible books. All the buttons are right up front; no switches in the back. Wish it had a DST switch, but the time is easy to set, so no real need.

There are a number of features that this alarm clock radio has that on palate should make it a winner. The implementation fails, in some small ways and in others more spectacularly, that makes my one star review.AM/FM Radio: great. It’s well designed and has many presets, and you can listen at small and very loud volume.Brightness: if you like super bright, it is. If you like dim, or very dark, for sleeping time, it does not get there. Its dimmest setting is way too bright for a dark room. Need some LightDims for this thing.Wireless charging: works, but is super picky about placement, and with a current iPhone that has camera protrusion, difficult at best. I could’ve lived with it, but…Radio alarm: total fail. The radio alarm ignores your radio volume set and starts silent, slowly rising to ear-piercing. I understand if this was an option, but it’s the only option for the radio alarm. When I asked about this to customer service, the response I got was: “The alarm volume is not adjustable, its already preset.”Therefore it is a total no-go for me. I can’t live in fear of my morning alarm rising to volumes that would wake the rest of my neighbors in my apartment building. Nope.I went with this because it checked off all the boxes for what I’d want in a charging radio alarm clock. This one feature killed everything for me and I returned it quickly.

Features are good, sound is good. small buttons for controlling are close together and after turning on, you're guessing at what button you're pushing unless looking directly at them.clock light is bright-not so bright-and not so briter. IT NEVER REALLY GETS DIM - three positions.Volume has 16 sound levels which is very good but once again, the buttons to change it are small.We like in and can sleep with the light from it.Occasionally, the alarm goes off at 6 AM when it's not even turned on . Even when it's set for some other time. possible feedback from my pacemaker????

This would be a nice clock if it were better thought out. The pros: The clock numbers are big and easy to read. Qi charging and the USB port work as expected. The cons: The slot for the battery to protect from power failure is the wrong size and batteries don't fit. The colon between the hours and minutes flashes rapidly and is distracting on a nightstand. Finally, setting the clock is harder than on some alarm clocks.
