It will slide on an incline. But works better than the shor swivel wheel that came on it.

Replaced a smaller one with this to raise the trailer so I don't have to have blocks under or pick it up to connect to truck. Nice improvement.

The product states 7.5 in with adjustable height but what arrived was only 3.5 in high but it seems very sturdy. The company was easy to work with and sent me the correct item. With a return label for the wrong one. The correct one works well and is sturdy.
