Wash the surface of the mouthpiece with water or alcohol, dry it, and try to remove the pad from the position where the mouthpiece is to be attached; Carefully remove the liner; (Do not touch the rubber surface) Stick it on the mouthpiece for once.

Is this a product for an advanced musician? Probably not. Why would you need 40 of them? I used maybe 8 good quality mouthpiece patches from high school to now. (15 years) These however are absolutely phenomenal for beginning band students. I find a lot of times students are hesitant to put their teeth on top of the mouthpiece, and this helps tremendously by reducing vibration and giving them something to focus their teeth on. And the plus side is that no one's crying if they pull it off and lose it because they're so cheap.

They’re fine, they’re not great. This is certainly a case of you get what you pay for. I’ve also noticed that they leave a lot of sticky residue on my mouthpieces after use. Not great, but they do the job.
