Wish I had bought this sooner. Wonderful quality and such a relief when I wear it.

I love this belly band! I’ve never had one before but my friend recommended it, so I figured I’d get one. I’m 24 weeks along and between my already crappy back, the kicking, and the ligament pain, I’m pretty uncomfortable most of the time. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much this band helped! It makes getting up, bending over, and walking around easier.I was a bit worried it would be too scratchy to wear under clothes like dresses and jumpsuits, but it’s not that bad! It feels very nice and secure and it’s very breathable.

Who knew such a silly strap could make a world of difference?! I'm halfway through my pregnancy and I couldn't put one load of dishes into the dishwasher before without ending up in pain. I get lower back and under-belly aches, and walking in general is uncomfortable. Once I put this on, I was able to go to four different stores, organize my kids bedroom, clean, do dishes, and wrap Christmas presents till 1am, without feeling like I was dying! Lower back still gets achy a little, but totally bearable! I'm amazed.

I bought this band to have something immediately for support. My back was sore but mostly my low belly, hip and pubic area were killing me after a few hours of walking. This was just at the end of the first trimester, so I wasn't even bursting yet. I walk a lot for my work (nursing), and I needed something to help keep me on my feet the entire day. I was thinking I would buy several Belly Bandits to replace this "temporary band" once they arrived.Surprisingly, this belly support was way comfier than I thought. It immediately gave me the required support and alleviated my aches and pains. Together with an electric blanket that I use at night, I was able to get through the early growing pains with no issue. This band is comfortable, easily bends and shapes to your body (and belly), has enough stretch and elasticity to add as much or as little compression you'd want, and it's cheap. It stays put no matter what you do: walking, bending, sitting, even yoga. The velcro has enough strength to hold you in no matter how tight you want it to be. Compared to the Belly Bandit 2-in-1 Bandit, I actually prefer this band due to its comfort and soft texture. The 2-in-1 bandit digs into my hips and back when I sit, doesn't stay put if I bend or sit, is made of rough materials and doesn't conform as nicely as this band. It is also twice the price. The 2-in-1 bandit was such a disappointment that I immediately returned it the day I got it. I will just be getting 2 more of this bands then I won't have to worry about laundry days. The Jill and Joey band isn't very tall so it's perfect for petite women or women with short torsos. I feel like the Belly Bandit ones are made for taller women, which explains why the bands dig into my thighs/hips/back. I also got the Upsie Belly, which is made of softer material, like the Jill and Joey maternity belt. I kept that one for when I get bigger and is comfortable albeit a bit too tall for my short 5'5" frame. It can dig into my back when I sit if I don't position it precisely. And lastly, I also got the V-sling from Belly Bandit, which is made from soft neoprene. I also kept that due to the possibility of pelvic pain in the future. One may use it solely as a belly band, but it doesn't offer a thick/tall area for the belly so it doesn't offer much support in that region compared to the Jill and Joey. For washing belly bands, don't forget to close up the velcro side so it won't ruin your other clothes.Overall, I enjoyed this purchase. The quality, comfort, and pain relief it offered surprised me. And it really works! I recommend it to people who walk often with the occasional sitting and bending. It's soft enough to even do yoga with.

The good: this belt is VERY supportive and versatile with it's adjustability, which I LOVE about it. During the earlier parts of my pregnancy, I wore it straight across my belly, and now that I'm 33 weeks it's more comfortable to wear it around the base of the bump. It's helped immensely with the round ligament pain I was experiencing all the way down into my groin area; it's also great for back support, which I need being on my feet a lot throughout the day. I wear it over leggings to exercise and run in, which I'm still able to do this far into pregnancy with the support of this belt! I also wear it during the day, but under the fabric of my pants instead of over. Which leads me to the few downsides of this belt:The not-so-good: this band can be pretty itchy. The fabric of other belts I have is much softer. I wear it over leggings when exercising for this reason, but for all-day wear I have to have it under the band of pants otherwise I have to take it off every time I pee, which pregnant ladies know is about every 30 minutes! The fibers have also started coming out and poking me, which you can see pictured. Because I have a few different bands, I don't wear this one every day and am disappointed it's not holding up better for how often I do wear it.Three stars for the excellent support, but minus 2 for the quality of the fabric/durability. Would definitely still recommend for the price!

I'm 20 weeks along and saw this recommended on What to Expect. IDK if I got a bad band or if I'm wearing it wrong, though I followed the instructions...but the band bunches up terribly for me from sitting (pictured). It makes me feel self-conscious and takes away from my overall comfort because I can feel it bunched up. I don't think it's too tight or too loose? If I were only using it standing and walking, I think it would've been fine, but now it's so misshapen and way too visible under my clothes after a week of use. I'm kind of bummed, because it is supportive enough and provides some relief for my sciatica. It's also not too hot, which is essential for me since I am always HOT. (Seriously, I comfortably wear a thinner hoodie, unzipped, when it's 40*.) Not sure if I can return it now that I've worn it, but not entirely satisfied with my purchase either. It may just be me since everyone else seems to be very happy with the band :(
