It fits onto the camera and 'locks'.You can wriggle the ring cap around but there's a gap because it's way too loose. Feels cheap as well. I was excited because I wanted to 'customise' my camera a bit but I don't recommend it

Tolerances on the OEM are fairly loose (at least in my case). This snugs up and stays put much better than the OEM ring.

The decorating ring of my Ricoh GRIII fell of, i guess it is a common weakness of this camera. This replacement ring has not fallen off so it look like it does the job

it's loose fit and not very tight. Already lost the ring somewhere during the 1st trip with the GR3.The original ring does not have this problem. It fits tightly.

I have ordered 2, 1 green and 1 red. Both are of decent quality though the red one is just a tiny bit loose.

Fits loose & doesn't lock into place. It is supposed to be made of aluminum alloy but looks & feels like cheap plastic. The grooves on the front are cut bigger giving it an ugly cheap look .

I have bought JJC accessories before and they’ve been okay. This ring is not close enough for my liking to the original Ricoh part in terms of look and quality of fit and finish. It fits with some fiddling, but is quite rough to screw on and in my opinion, it makes the camera look a little cheap. Sending this one back.

It is less expensive than the ones Ricoh sells. The only problem with the camera itself is these rings come loose and fall off . . . annoying and expensive

I love the accent, and the fit is fantastic. I would lose the OEM ring all the time. This one holds like a champ.

Look, it's a decorative piece of bling. It is very well made, fits well and makes my GR3 have a bit of flash. I won't have it on all the time, but it's nice to see once in a while
