Works on my John Deere lawn tractor and on my Troy Bilt XP50. Better quality oil filter than the cheap ones. Have used this filter for years on my John Deere and Troy Bilt and seems to do an excellent job filtering the oil.

Fit my JD Z235 perfectly! Seems to be made of good material, and it's a good value buying package of 4 for savings. My mower gets an oil change about once every six months, so this would last me another 2 years. My mower engine, I believe, is a Briggs & Straton engine, even though it says John Deere on it. Based on my research, it appears that the equivalent part for this oil filter is Briggs&Straton 492932S. This part is about $4-5 cheaper than the JD part. If you're changing your filter more often, it may be beneficial to look at the B&S filter instead.
