I bought these socks for my husband who gave me free range to pick out a costume for his 80's themed work function and when I tell you it was a hit I mean it! Ladies and gentlemen when I tell you I could not stop laughing to say I was laughing so hard I started crying is an understatement. The socks themselves are super soft and comfortable. They do fit snugger than most socks so they give you a little bit of compression without being too tight. These are great for pulling off that 80"s aesthetic, wearing with boots, or under scrubs. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I wanted tube socks that will reach to my knees for deadlifting (picking up a barbell off the floor and standing to a fully-erect position while holding it), in which I drag the barbell up the shins (in contact with them) to lockout. I do this currently in snug-fitting sweats so that the bar doesn't tear up my shins but can use another layer of protection there, and would like to be able to deadlift in shorts in warm weather. I've deadlifted for several years with sport socks that only reach to mid-calf.These socks just arrived and fit perfectly for my intended use. Unstretched they measure 14 inches from the top to the middle of the heel. When I put them on they stretch to the top of my kneecap, which is exactly 20 inches vertically above my heel.We'll see how well they wear. They're not terribly thick, as I recall my tube socks in the '70s were when I was a kid. They seem sufficient, however. Will report back after I've used them for a while.[EDIT: October 2022] I've been wearing these for two years now, deadlifting twice a week and washing them weekly. They're good as new and were an excellent purchase.
