I made a “dummy” wedding cake using this and a small tub of fondant. This was for a music video. The end result was great. I didn’t use the large bottom piece because that would have required another tub of fondant.

The set arrived as described. It should be noted there are lines where the mold was. Just turn that to the back or frost over it. All purpose drywall mud is a really great frosting option. Hot glue pieces together then frost. Add a dab if "frosting" to the bottom of the bottom tier to adhere it to your cake board so it doesn't slide as the cake is pretty light weight.Very easy to assemble. Came in sizes noted & all pieces look pretty uniform. This will make my wedding amazingly easy & we still get the big cake for photos. There will be 25 people in attendance so no need for a big cake but I really wanted the pictures. I bake incredibly well and love designing cakes but on my wedding day, I wasn't looking forward the added stress so I bought faux cakes! I plan to cut a piece and replace with with real cake so we can so a cake cutting. No one will be the wiser and in the kitchen, I'll have cakes I've made and frosted waiting to be sliced. They just won't have to stacked perfectly and transported with care as if I was moving a fabrage egg. Time saving and stress free. Yes please!

I use this to make a fake tiered cake and they are great. The Styrofoam is thick and sturdy. There could be lots of uses for these.

These are such a great deal! I've already used them four times don't have any problems with them or chips in them they hold up really well. I usually use a bigger size at the bottom but since I've been using thrse I realize I don't even want a bigger size of the bottom it just uses more fondant LOL so I'm going to stick with these and they're cheap enough that if I need another set I can just get one :-)
