I expected the layers to peel out and they don't at all. Also, the foam had indents that don't go away.

Very difficult to peel down to the layer I needed. I wound up with a very ugly job. It didn't peel as cleanly as shown in the videos I watched.

A 2 foot by 2 foot piece of Kaizen foam packaged in the thin gray plastic bag, was dented in numerous places, a gouge was along one edge, and it took 0ver two weeks to deliver. It was apparent something sat on top of it in transit and caused the indentations. Thankfully it had a fragile sticker on the packaging in two places.

I bought this without realizing it had precisely ZERO reviews. It arrived almost a week late with a dent in the middle, presumably from shipping. I made it work, and it’s very clean, luxurious, even, in my toolbox. I will say, however, that I found a Kaizen Foam 2x4’ sheet (basically the same thing just a little more finicky to peel and 2 ft longer) for the same price as this 2x2 sheet on Home Depot’s website.
