For 50 bucks I would expect the casing that holds the chalk to be made of better material other than soft cheap plastic. I use kamui chalk, 30 bucks a pop. The plastic is so soft my chalk kept falling out. The magnet holds the casing in place great put that about it. I ended up making a leather case with a flap/cover so it wouldn't get the inside of my shirt full of chalk. If they'd upgrade the casing it might be worth 50 bucks but as it is now I wouldn't spend that much money.

I can't think of a single thing that would make this product better. Slim designed that holds to pocket or belt securely. The magnet is so strong that you have to slide the chalk holder off rather than pull it off. Usually, weak a magnetic is the problem with other brands. If i had to nitpick I'd say that the chalk will fall out of the flexible plastic that holds the chalk if it's hit just right. If hit hard than then Chalk with Holder will be knocked off the belt magnetic. It's a pricey product but you get what you pay for. Buy once, cry once.

I got this as a replacement for one my boyfriend lost when a zipper on his pool bag was left open. He loves it because you don’t lose your chalk when in your pool match, and you always can have it on you without getting chalk all over your pocket. Great buy.

I figured I would spend the extra money and get a good chalk holder. I made the wrong choice. Chalk cubes constantly fall out.

I don't usually give reviews, but I decided this product deserved a good review. This holder has a real strong magnet. The only drawback is that the chalk falls out of the holder sometimes, but that's a small issue I can live with. This holder makes it so convenient to have the chalk handy.

What makes this snapping the chalk on and off the base magnet so nice is inside the flexible soft plastic is a small metal square with a small circular magnet glued to the bottom. This magnet-to-magnet interaction makes it feel very strong when held and has a nice snap feel when taking the chalk back off.It's meant for a square chalk however, circular chalk like Taom also fits nicely after some easy manipulation into the soft plastic.By pushing on the metal center of chalk holder you can take the chalk back out.The build quality is very nice and seems a bit better than other clips I have used in the past.My only complaint is the high price. It's worth maybe $30 not $50, which is what I paid for it. What really gets me is that it is $50 listed on the manufacturer's website. Which is ridiculous to me. Parts were probably around $5 to make.

It's easy to forget to pick up your chalk each time which leads to leaving the chalk on the table for others to take or simply leave it behind after playing. There is a great convenience in having your chalk with you while deliberating your next shot.

Really convenient. Holds the chalk well but you need to double check if you accidentally rub up against something as that can make the chalk fall off. Rarely happens because the magnet is so strong but with the price of Kamui it is worthwhile to keep an eye out just in case.
