So far so good. BMW E90 had the "coolant level low" error on the dash and wouldn't go away. I replaced it with this item and it immediately went off. Reservoir/tank feels like it's made well and came with a new sensor. Let's see how long it lasts!!

Failed after 1 year 7 months. Cracked inside the reservoir at the seam, caused more damage to my car and cost 2k to fix. Pay extra and get a certified OEM part.

***update after one year*****After about one year of using this, the quantity sensor took a dive. Keeps alarming that the QTY is low, yet the reservoir is full. No leaks and the float still works. It’s a nuisance, but it works. I’m going to change it cus I hate having to check the reservoir every so often to be sure it’s not low. I guess you get what you pay for.changed a leaking reservoir for this unit. its identical to the OEM version. easy to install. its been 3 months from install and its holding steady!

It’s not exactly OEM but for the price I cannot complain, I will update the review when it fails but as of right now it seems to be working fine. The only part that is a minor concern is the coolant level sensor on the bottom; it does not fit very snuggly however it has not leaked yet.

2008 bmw 335i e90. My old coolant reservoir was separating upon receiving hot coolant from wing circulated in the engine. The reservoir was leaking and gushing coolant. I bought this replacement and it worked 100%. Easy install. Saved hundred bucks by not going with FCP euro, ESC tuning, dealer.Try it. It works like a charm. Thanks Amazon!
