I haven't used it yet, even though I bought the small size it was too big for my turtles tank. He has that cube tank that about 3 gallons. I'm thinking about keeping the rock because I will eventually upgrade him to a bigger tank.

Item was exactly as pictured. I was unsure about purchasing because of some of the bad reviews but so far I'm glad I did choose this bask/cave. It seems sturdy. This is a size small and he has plenty of room to grow.

Our box turtle really likes this. When she's active, she will climb up and down to get closer to the basking light or just explore. When she wants to chill she loves the cave. She has a good three inches of dirt under her cave and she has made little burrows under the cave making it her mini-HQ. She is destructive by nature, so I love having something permanent that she likes that she can't break. (Most plants have already been decimated, this is functioning to protect a sword fern as well as provide a play space and burrows.)

Perfect hide and basking platform. Colors are natural. I have purchased too of them for both my dragons. They are great.

This came in with Styrofoam packing and some wrap for cushion, when I placed it down I noticed it wobbled side to side so I ended up using hot glue to even out the bottom, it was exactly the same measurements as shown and perfect size for our class turtle. She was skeptical at first but uses it to bask and it serves its function! There was no need for assembly as it can in as one piece.Our class turtle is a African side neck female at 13 years old and she can't use the stairs but is able to climb up using a wedged rock in the other corner of the tank, she can stand up and eat off of the platform easily and will sit there if needed.Overall pretty good, color is on point and can work well in water has some sharp edges and a wobbled but hot glue modifications can fix it.

We like this little cave for our turtle, but the paint is bubbling and peeling off the back on both sides.

Super cute hide and the size medium is the perfect size for a fully grown leopard gecko. He immediately went into it and made it his new home. He loves being inside and even climbs up on it at night. The hide color is more of a green color in person - the listing photos look like a tan/gray stone appearance which surprised us when we received it because it looked like two different colors, in person, it looks more like a greenish hue. Overall, it is a nicely made, sturdy hide and our leopard gecko approves! It also fits nicely in the corner of our aquarium.
